This course is designed for anyone using step ladders and ladders in the course of their work. Objectives include: An understanding of the potential risks when working from steps and ladders, how to identify defective equipment, safe use of step ladders and ladders and responsibilities as imposed by regulations governing working at heights.

This course is designed for employers, the self employed and anyone using step ladders and ladders in the course of their work.

Course Aims
By the end of the course attendees will have learnt to:
- Explain The Work at Height Regulations 2005 (as amended)
- Select and use equipment in the correct way
- Be aware of their responsibilities within The Work at Height Regulations 2005 (as amended)
