ABOUT US
WE INSPIRE, SUPPORT AND DEVELOP THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENGINEERS, HELPING BUILD THE WORKFORCE OF THE FUTURE.
Founded in 1983 by a group of engineering employers in Oxfordshire, The Engineering Trust was established with a clear purpose: to promote engineering, develop skills, and create opportunities for people through high-quality apprenticeships and training.
More than four decades later, we remain committed to that original mission. As a registered charity, we work to inspire young people and have developed our outreach work to have impact on children from primary school through to year 13.
Our apprenticeships are delivered through our wholly owned subsidiary, Engineering Trust Training Ltd, which provides work-based apprenticeship programmes across Oxfordshire, the surrounding counties and North Devon.
As an organisation, we support apprentices, employers, schools, and communities, helping individuals develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in rewarding careers.
From engaging young people through STEM activities and careers programmes, to delivering apprenticeships and celebrating achievements through industry awards, we are passionate about raising aspirations, widening opportunities, and ensuring engineering remains a vibrant and accessible career choice for all.
