ABOUT OUR WORK IN NORTH DEVON

Formerly Group Training and Development (GTD) Ltd

In January 2023, apprenticeship delivery previously provided by GTD transferred to Engineering Trust Training Ltd (ETT). Having worked closely together for many years, this integration has strengthened the high-quality apprenticeship provision that GTD delivered across North Devon for more than 40 years.

Our North Devon team works in partnership with local engineering employers to meet their workforce development needs, delivering high-quality Level 2 and Level 3 engineering apprenticeships. As part of the programme, day-release training is delivered by North Devon College (formally Petroc).

Beyond apprenticeship delivery, our team works closely with local schools to promote engineering careers and apprenticeships, helping to inspire and develop the next generation of engineers.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

BECOME AN APPRENTICE

An apprenticeship combines practical and academic learning delivered both on and off the job with time mixed between learning in the workplace and learning at college. Our engineering apprenticeships take between 14 and 42 months to complete and range from level 2 to level 4, so there is something for everyone, regardless of experience.

We have been delivering engineering apprenticeships for over 35 years and have a vast amount of experience in working closely with our business partners to ensure that their investment in money, time and effort delivers a successful apprenticeship. Great for bringing new talent into your business or upskilling your current workforce.
